My good friends at Vietnam in Focus have just launched a brand new photography tour in Saigon.
On the Tracks takes you on a photographic adventure around Ho Chi Minh Cities Railway Station and the surrounding area, through local alleyways and streets, venturing a respectively non-touristic area of Saigon. The intimate relationship between the rail system and daily life is very clear, as the railway snakes through housing and markets areas. The early morning tour captures the daily rituals of the Saigonese as they awake and start their day. Its a fascinating adventure into one of Vietnam’s most bustling cities in an area that seems still untouched by modern development.
